It is picturesque and colourful, offers many museums, one of which is even in a former prison. Interesting experience, really. A short cruise on the Beagle Channel offers some variety. You can collect many animal impressions and marvel at what is perhaps the southernmost lighthouse. Adjacent to the north of the canal is the absolute highlight to marvel at: the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Beautiful hiking trails lead along the bays or through primeval forests. This is what the untouched earth must have looked like - a true paradise.
