France has many facettes. The colors and gentleness in the South of France which also fascinated Renoir, Matisse and Cézanne. The nice beaches and the hip villages at the Côte d’Azur. The Provence with it’s endless lavender fields. The Camargue with the famous horses. The Languedoc, Bordeaux and Bourgougne famous for their excellent wine. The Altantic Coast Bretagne and Normandy with wild-romantic but rugged cliffs and Bordeaux with a soft coastline and endless long and white sandy beaches. The French cuisine is renowned for being one of the finest in the world.

nature France – Nature

France counts 48 “Parcs Naturels Régionaux” and many lakes to relax. The Camargue is western Europe’s largest river delta. Approx. a third of the Camargue is either lakes or marshland. The Camargue is home to more than 400 species of birds. Its brine ponds provide one of the few European habitats for the greater flamingo. Camargue horses roam the extensive marhslands, along with Camargue cattle.

camping France – Camping

Campgrounds are available throughout the country. There are different kind of campgrounds: very basic with no facilities, with fresh water and electricity or “Full Hook-Up”:  electricity, fresh water, grey- and black water. Dumping: with a “Full Hook-Up” directly on the site, otherwise on the central dumping station of the campground or on central dumping stations in the city or at certain gas stations. Rates are approx. EUR 18-60. During high season, we recommend to pre reserve popular sites.
