Netherlands is the country of bikes, tulips, windmills, clogs, edammer and gouda cheese. Amsterdam is a very liberal city and famous for the canals, van Gogh, Anne-Frank House and much more. Wester Kerk a church tower with a nice panorama terrace. Keukenhof and Aalsmeers is a must for flower and tulip enthusiasts. The Wadden sea is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Explore Hoge Veluwe National Park on one of the 1800 white bikes, free of charge. Enjoiy the beach in Domburg & Cadzand.

nature Netherlands – Nature

Oosterschelde is a tidal basin and the largest National Park. Oystercatcher, eurasian wigeon, seagull and eagle can be seen. The Oostvaardersplassen is the biggest wetland in Europe and is divided into the wet area in the northwest and a the dry area in the southeast. In the wet area along the Markenmeer, there are large reedbeds on clay, where moulting geese often feed. This area is also home to cormorant, spoonbill, egret, white-tailed eagle and Eurasian bittern. Big gatherings of wildhorses and the red deer which belongs to the “Big 5” of Holland. Visit Wadden Sea which is famous for birds, seals and seasonal for dolphins and whales.

camping Netherlands – Camping

Campgrounds are available throughout the country. There are different kind of campgrounds: very basic with no facilities, with fresh water and electricity or “Full Hook-Up”:  electricity, fresh water, grey- and black water. Dumping: with a “Full Hook-Up” directly on the site, otherwise on the central dumping station of the campground or on central dumping stations in the city or at certain gas stations. Rates are approx. EUR 18-60. During high season, we recommend to pre reserve popular sites.
