 Argentina – General

Argentina, country of six continents. Iguazu, the tropical forest in the north with the most beautiful waterfall of the world. Andes mountains, impressive mountain range from north to south, with its highest summit of 6959 m – Aconcagua. Farmland, splendid Estancias, pampa, rugged glacier world, bizarre desert landscape, gorgeous shoreline. Argentina not only has a unique landscape, it also offers highlights such as very tasty wine and meat, try “bife de lomo” or “bife de chorizo” and is the birthplace of tango.

 Argentina – Nature

Argentina is hosting one of the greatest ecosystem varieties in the world: 15 continental zones, 3 oceanic zones. Depending on the region many different animals and bird can be observed. Nandu, the southamerican oistrich, guanako, lama, eagle, condor, monkeys, tapir, jaguar. On the coast elephant seal, sea lion, seal, penguin and whale.

 Argentina – Camping

“Wild Camping” is allowed on public terrain. Camping libre, camping agrestre or refugios are free of charge, all very basic, most of them without facilities. They compensate by the fact that they are situated in the most extraordinary settings. Privately owned campgrounds – camping privado – are free of charge or up to as expensive as an overnight in a 3-star hotel, depending on the facilities. During high season January/February we recommend to pre reserve popular campgrounds.
