Bavarias pearl - from/to Munich

Pick-up your motorhome or camper. Get known with your new home on wheels.. Stop at the next supermarket and drive to the first campground. There is a lot to see in Munich. To be recommended is for example the visit of the English garden or a visit at the BMW museum.

Visit the castle Herrenchiemsee of King Ludwig II. which is located on an island on the lake of Chiemsee.

Enjoy the countryside at the lake of Starnberg.

Enjoy the beautiful alpine world at the foot of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain of Germany (2962 meters above sea level).

On the way to the castle Neuschwanstein of king Ludwig II. Our trip leads us through the state of Tirol and back to the Bavarian Alps. Visit the famous castle.

In Füssen the "romantic road" begins. Along this road you will reach Ulm. Visit the cathedral with the highest steeple of the world (162 meters above sea level ).

The journey northbound along the "romantic road" leads you from Nördlingen, Dinkelsbühl to Rothenburg situated on the river Tauber. Visit the the famous town hall and hear ybout the most important things of the history of the city.

The inner-city of Würzbürg neighborhood is worth seeing.

Bambergs historic city center is a listed UNESCO world heritage site.

Bayreuth is world-famous for its annual Bayreuth Festival, at which performances of operas by the 19th-century German composer Richard Wagner are presented. The Margravial Opera House was opened in 1748 and is one of the finest Baroque theatres in Europe. It is both a museum and the oldest working tableau in Bayreuth.

Explore the old town of Nürnberg with the famous landmark the imperial castle.

Since 13th july 2006 the medieval centre of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a testimony of the city's status as cultural centre of southern Germany in the middle ages.

Passau is also known as the Dreiflüssestadt or "City of Three Rivers," because the Danube is joined at Passau by the Inn from the south and the Ilz from the north. Enjoy a boat trip on the Danube.

Drive along the german-austrian border and along the river Inn to Burghausen. The castle and the old town are worth visiting.

Today you will have to drive back to Munich. Enjoy again the opportunity to go sightseeing the Bavarien city.
