Well, we admit it. Sweden doesn't have to be discovered first. Sweden as such is well explored. But do you really know the country? Were they there? The Kingdom of Sweden (Konungariket Sverige) is a parliamentary monarchy in Scandinavia and is part of the EU. The approximately 10 million inhabitants are spread over the huge area of a good 447,000 square kilometers. Here you can see - this country is not necessarily densely populated. The majority of the people live in the big cities. In Stockholm, the capital alone, there are over 2.2 million people, or just under a million in Gothenburg. In these two and the other well-known cities of Malmö, Uppsala and Västeras, a total of well over 3.5 million people live, i.e. more than a third of the entire country. So there is a lot of untouched nature to discover away from the cities and the flourishing modern life in the cities.
