New Zealand - Camping
There are 3 types of camping possibilities in New Zealand. “Wild Camping” is allowed except in the areas with a sign “Camping prohibited”. Campgrounds in or around the National Parks are very basic, but the experience is outstanding. Rates are approx. NZD 10-20. “Top 10 Holiday Parks” are campgrounds with full facilities. Rates are approx. NZD 35-60. During high season, we recommend to pre reserve popular sites.
