North Sea and Baltic Sea with the motorhome

Why wander far when the good is so close? You can confidently ask yourself this question when it comes to your next holiday. Have you already booked something? Where do you want to travel? Don't know yet? But it shouldn't be a city trip? No all-inclusive vacation in Turkey, the Maldives or the Bahamas? The Adriatic coast does not play a role in your considerations either? If you still want to see the sea and also want to travel to Germany or possibly Denmark, we have the North and Baltic Seas to offer. Wild and romantic nature awaits you there, beautiful and interesting coastal towns and of course the fresh sea breeze that blows the incomparable smell around your nose. Because the area is vast, it's worth considering a multi-stop tour. If you can afford it, it is best to plan 3 weeks time. And rent an RV. This gives you more flexibility than ever. So you can enjoy the whole thing to the fullest.

Your journey could look like this

If you like, you can start your holiday in Hamburg. This is a superlative starting point, a pulsating metropolis on the Elbe. Treat yourself to a few days in a hotel and explore culture and nightlife, go shopping and everything that goes with it. There is no shortage of attractions: Elbphilharmonie, Rathaus, Miniatur Wunderland, Tierpark Hagenbeck, the Reeperbahn, the fish market... there's no chance of boredom. On the last day in the Hanseatic city, you get your mobile home, pack your luggage and then set off on a tour of discovery. Follow the Elbe for a good 100 km to the North Sea. Glückstadt has an Italian flair. No wonder, because the Danish King Christian IV had the town staged after an Italian model. From there it goes on to Brunsbüttel and then along the Kiel Canal to the Baltic Sea. If you want to watch ships go through really impressive locks, you can do that in Brunsbüttel. Anyone who longs for the Baltic Sea can drive the 100 km straight on to Dithmarschen. In the area you can not only dine well, but also explore the famous Wadden Sea. If you have bikes in your luggage, you should use them here. The area is flat and heavenly to look at. The city of Schleswig brings more life back into everyday life. From there it's almost the final sprint to Flensburg, where you can go swimming in the sea to finish off. The camper is the best companion of this tour. Because you always have everything you need with you.
