The key factor in the success of the Italian cuisine is its heavy reliance on traditional products. The Amalfi coast with Amalfi, Ravello and Positano is one of the nicest and most impressive panoramic route. Sardinia also called “Emerald of the Mediterranean” – Sardinia with azure and turquoise sea, white beaches and lush vegetation. Sicily the biggest island in the Mediterranean with volcano Etna.

Italy - Camping

Campgrounds are available throughout the country. There are different kind of campgrounds: very basic with no facilities, with fresh water and electricity or “Full Hook-Up”:  electricity, fresh water, grey- and black water. Dumping: with a “Full Hook-Up” directly on the site, otherwise on the central dumping station of the campground or on central dumping stations in the city or at certain gas stations. Rates are approx. EUR 15-65. During high season, we recommend to pre reserve popular sites.

Italy - Nature

With more than 1.5 million hectares of protected areas, the 24 Italian National Parks make up the country’s green heart. The National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise in the Appennine Mountains is the oldest of all parks. Golden Eagle, ibex and chamois can be seen. The National Park of the Bellunesi Dolomites is a must for mountain lovers and enthusiasts of winter and summer sports.
