Australia - Camping
There are 3 types of camping possibilities in Australia. “Wild Camping” is allowed except in the areas with a sign “Camping Prohibited”. Campgrounds in or around the National Parks are very basic, the experience is outstanding, especially in the outback. Rates are approx. AUD 5-15. “Big4 Holiday Parks” are campgrounds with full facilities. Rates are approx. AUD 35-60. During high season, we recommend to pre reserve popular sites.
