Australia has a huge wealth of animals which most of them you will only see in Down Under. 55 different species of kangaroos and wallabys, koalas, emus, penguins, wombats, platypus and approx. 820 different birds including lovebirds, cockatoos and parrots. Not to forget the Great Barrier Reef with its 1695 corals, 3900 fish species, whales and sharks.

camping Australia – Camping

There are 3 types of camping possibilities in Australia. “Wild Camping” is allowed except in the areas with a sign “Camping Prohibited”. Campgrounds in or around the Nationalparks are very basic, the experience is outstanding, especially in the outback. Rates are approx. AUD 5-15. “Big4 Holiday Parks” are campgrounds with full facilities. Rates are approx. AUD 35-60. During high season, we recommend to pre reserve popular sites.
